Everyone was great and it was so nice to meet with people who were in the same situation as us. I'm glad we exchanged contact information and hopefully we will be able to keep in touch and share our future experiences.
The day started with a meeting at the Somerset (which has a nice Starbucks in the lobby). We then proceeded to meet John and Hanna at the Deok Su Gung palace (the smallest of the five palaces in Seoul). We were happy to visit a second palace with locals. Alo did a good job of keeping all of us moving as we tended to get distracted easily talking.

The painting symbolizes the five highest mountains in Korea with the sun and moon. The sun and moon are also a sort of yin and yang or the male and female influences.
Statue of King Sejong
Sejong is considered to be one of the greatest kings in Korean history and founded the modern Korean alphabet (1418-1450)
We actually did travel together!
Lunch Resteraunt (inside and out).
The food was excellent. We ate in traditional style - individual bowls of rice and common dishes of food. There is a lot to portray about the lunch but it is difficult to describe via text.
The wall at Cheonggye Stream
There are paintings of thousands of warriors on the wall (the king's retinue).
