We had a great time yesterday on the city tour. We met up with two other adopting groups - the Marshalls and Faits. John Marshall had flown in from San Diego the previous day by himself. He then met with his son and went to sleep. He got up the next morning and went on the tour. Today he is picking up his son and flying back to SD - best wishes! We had three excellent tour guides -Alo, Sophie (Brother and sister) and Hannah. We visited the smallest palace of the five in the city, Cheonggyecheon Stream, and proceeded to shop at Insadong market. The best thing about the day wasn't the things we saw, but the people we shared it with. Everyone was friendly and excited to be there (including the guides). The time passed so quickly and all of a sudden it was time to split up... Will post more later (especially about lunch - very authentic and very good).
We go to pick up Kaitlyn in 2 hours, 15 minutes and counting!!!
